As a freelance writer and creative based in Southern California, I specialize in the art of storytelling through words and design. My focus is on creating content about the people, places, products and ideas that shape our communities.
I began my career as an agency writer — drafting press releases, developing brand narratives, launching new client blogs, among other projects — before expanding into the editorial space. I landed at a publishing company in Laguna Beach, working as a journalist and group editor overseeing several local magazines and custom publications.
My writing has taken me around the world, from Macau to Mexico City. I’ve covered the latest restaurant openings around town, interviewed business luminaries and profiled iconic design houses. Writing fuels my natural curiosity and sends me in an endless pursuit of interesting stories to tell.
In addition to my bylined work, I am a marketing and communications professional with a passion for social impact. It has led to meaningful collaborations with nonprofits and philanthropic organizations, from penning op-eds and advertorials to designing and writing annual reports.
Over the last decade, I’ve written everything from ad copy to keynote speeches that bring audiences to their feet. I have authored thought leadership pieces for executives and nonprofit leaders, and put together compelling narratives that landed my clients recognition from award programs like EY Entrepreneur of the Year and National Philanthropy Day.
Today, I work with publications, agencies and visionary brands to bring stories to life through written and visual communications. I aim to inspire change, impart information and make voices heard. How can I help you? Let’s chat – contact me today.
